* Ellicott City: 3500 block of Saint Johns Lane: An employee opening The Lemon Tree arrived there early Friday morning and found a customer waiting inside. The customer told the employee that the door was unlocked. Police said cash had been taken from the register overnight.

* Elkridge: 6300 block of Woodland Forest Drive: Someone cut a lock from a storage shed and took a bicycle Sunday, police said.

6600 block of Ducketts Lane: A lock was cut off a storage shed Friday, but police said nothing was taken. Four blocks up, someone cut a storaged shed lock and took a bike during the same time period.

6900 block of Cedar Ave.: A bicycle was stolen from a storage shed Friday after someone cut a lock, police said.
