Firefighters from Manchester, Lineboro and Pleasant Hill of York County, Pa., were dispatched to a house fire in the 5000 block of Band Hall Hill Road, Manchester, at 4:05 p.m. Monday.

The first firefighters to arrive discovered a kitchen fire that had been extinguished by the residents. They remained at the scene for more than an hour to check for possible extension of the fire into hidden areas and to clear the house of smoke.

No one was injured.
