James A. Ferguson

Electrical engineer

James A. Ferguson, a retired Westinghouse Electric Corp. employee, died Sunday of heart failure at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was 60 and lived in Pasadena.

He retired in 1990 as a senior electrical engineer at the Westinghouse plant at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, where he had worked for 32 years.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

The Baltimore native was reared in Brooklyn Park and graduated from Glen Burnie High School.

Services were planned for 11 a.m. today at Severna Park United Methodist Church, 731 Benfield Road.

He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Kutz; a daughter, Mary D. Murphy of Baltimore; a son, James E. Ferguson of Pasadena; a brother, Howard Ferguson of Pasadena; and three grandchildren.

Burial Mass set Friday

A Mass of Christian burial for Baltimore District Judge Robert J. Gerstung will be offered at 1 p.m. Friday at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5200 N. Charles St., Baltimore. Interment will be in Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Ave., Baltimore.

Judge Gerstung, 61, died Monday at his summer home in Betterton.
