* Elkridge: 6800 block of Deerpath Road: Four tires of a gray Dodge Caravan were slashed Wednesday, police said.

6300 block of South Hanover Road: Someone climbed a fence at Columbia Roofing Inc. Thursday and stole a 300-foot air hose, a generator and several other tools. The stolen property was valued at more than $3,000.

* Ellicott City: 8000 block of Main St.: Someone tried to steal a small evergreen tree from a wooden tub outside the Margaret Smith Gallery Thursday.
