Amid the unveiling of the Baltimore CFL Colts' uniform yesterday, Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke said he does not rule out the possibility the city might wind up with teams in both the Canadian Football League and the National Football League.

"There is still a lot working on the NFL front, and I would not dismiss the possibility of someone locally coming up with ownership interest in one of the California teams," Schmoke said. "I don't know details of negotiations, but based on conversations, I think the local interest is still in the running . . . I'm not dismissing the idea Baltimore might end up being the home of a CFL team and an NFL team."

City officials have had discussions with the Los Angeles Rams and Raiders since failing to win an expansion team last winter.

Yesterday, Schmoke received a CFL Colts jersey with No. 10 from his quarterbacking days at City College. The mayor said he will go to Hamilton, Ontario, in July when Colts owner Jim Speros makes a bid to bring the 1996 Grey Cup game to Baltimore.
