Glenn Robinson scored 44 points to lead top seeded Purdue to an 83-78 victory over Kansas in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament Southeast Regional at Knoxville, Tenn., last night.
Purdue will play third-seeded Duke in the regional final tomorrow in Knoxville. Duke's Grant Hill scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half as the Blue Devils pulled away late and gained a 59-49 victory over sixth-ranked Marquette.
In the West Regional at Los Angeles, Missouri's Melvin Booker scored seven of his 24 points in overtime to lead top-seeded Missouri to a 98-88 victory over Syracuse. In the other game in the West Regional, Khalid Reeves scored 29 points to lead Arizona to an 82-70 victory over Louisville.
