A lone gunman robbed an Odenton discount store of an undetermined amount of money Tuesday, county police said yesterday.
According to police, the man walked into the Dollar Mart store, located in the Odenton Shopping Center in the 1100 block of Annapolis Road, about 3 p.m. After all the customers had gone, the man walked up to the counter, threatened the clerk with a gun and demanded money.
The clerk gave the man money from the cash drawer. The robber fled and was last seen entering a green car with District of Columbia license plates.
Restaurant employees robbed by 2 men
Two men robbed two Domino's Pizza employees outside a Fort Meade restaurant Tuesday night, county police reported.
Detectives said two employees of the Domino's Pizza in the 3500 block of Laurel-Fort Meade Road were coming out of the restaurant at 8:40 p.m. with the receipts when the men ran up and demanded money.
The robbers took a wallet and a pager from the men as well as the restaurant money they were carrying, then fled, police said.
