POLICE

* Taylorsville: A resident of the 3300 block of Buffalo Road told state police someone broke the four side windows of his car and stole the radio Sunday. The vehicle was parked near his house and the loss is estimated at $600.

FIRE

* Winfield: Winfield and Sykesville were dispatched to investigate a fire alarm at a building in the 1700 block of Liberty Road at 8:43 p.m. Monday. Units were out for six minutes.
