* Jessup: 9900 block of Guilford Road: A 1992 Volkswagen GTI was stolen between 12:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Saturday. The car was recovered the same day in Baltimore County.

* North Laurel: 9800 block of Route 1: A 1993 Isuzu truck, marked "Thrift Store of Laurel" on both cab doors, was reported stolen Saturday.

* Scaggsville: 8200 block of Mary Lee Lane: Someone tried to steal a 1991 Honda Accord between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.
