* Gamber: Firefighters from the Gamber station were dispatched to an automobile fire in the 3000 block of Gamber Road at 8:20 p.m. Friday. The call was canceled after seven minutes.

POLICE

* Sykesville: A resident of Jasmine Court told state police someone entered his automobile and stole a stereo system and radar detector Wednesday. He estimated the loss at $320.

* Eldersburg: A stereo system, valued at $600, was stolen from a vehicle parked on Gemini Drive on Sunday. The owner told state police the vehicle was parked at his house.
