* Manchester: Manchester responded to a report of wires on fire on Manchester Avenue at 8:52 p.m. Thursday. Units were out for 48 minutes.

* Hampstead: Hampstead investigated the odor of natural gas in a building in the 600 block of Boxwood Drive after a call at 11:23 a.m. Thursday. Units were out for 21 minutes.

Hampstead responded to a call of wires on fire in the 3800 block of Hampstead-Mexico Road at 10:03 a.m. Thursday. Units were out for 36 minutes.

* Lineboro: Engines from Lineboro, Manchester and Hampstead were dispatched to a house fire in the 4900 block of Roller Road, off Falls Road near River Valley Ranch, at 4:17 p.m. Friday. The first arrivals declared it a "working fire" to alert others to its seriousness.

The blaze, in the bedroom of the house, was brought under control within 20 minutes, but engines remained at the scene for more than 90 minutes.

Lineboro and Manchester were dispatched for a fire alarm sounding in a building in the 1200 block of Musselman Road in York County, Pa., at 8:33 a.m. Thursday. The call was canceled after three minutes.
