10400 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: A would-be thief tried to take a 1990 Acura Legend Tuesday by tampering with its ignition. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.
* Hickory Ridge: 10900 block of Trotting Ridge Way: A green 1993 Honda Accord with Maryland tags AVL257 was stolen last Monday.
