The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference is holding its men's and women's basketball tournaments in Baltimore next week. Play begins 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Morgan State's Hill Field House with four women's quarterfinal games and the men's play-in game.

On Friday, the top-seeded Coppin State men will play at 1:30 p.m. at Hill Field House against the winner of the play-in game, followed by the other three men's quarterfinal games.

The semifinals will be Saturday at Hill Field House -- the women at noon and 2 p.m. and the men at 4:30 and 7:30.

The championships will be March 13 at the Baltimore Arena -- the women at 4:30 p.m. and the men at 7:30. The men's and women's winners receive automatic berths to the NCAA tournaments.

Tickets for children and students are $5 per day for Thursday through Saturday and $7 for Sunday. Adult tickets are $10 for Thursday and $15 for Friday through Sunday. They are available at the Baltimore Arena (410) 347-2010, TicketMaster (410) 481-7328, Coppin State and Morgan State.
