* Union Bridge: Intruders broke into an East Elger Street house on two consecutive days, state police reported. On Sunday between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., someone entered the house through a basement door and stole cigarettes valued at $27.50. Between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Monday, someone again forced the basement door and took food and liquor valued at $16, police were told.
