Suspect questioned in bank robbery
State police stopped an automobile on Route 91 near Route 140 yesterday and arrested the driver after monitoring a description of a man wanted in a bank robbery in Baltimore County.
The man, who was not identified and had not been charged as of early yesterday evening, was held at the Westminster barracks for questioning by Baltimore County police.
Investigators said the man was stopped and detained without incident.
The Rosedale Federal Savings and Loan Association in the 6700 block of Belair Road was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money Wednesday.
?3 No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
Awards ceremony setfor clerical students
The Mid-Maryland Private Industry Council and the Carroll County Job Training Partnership will have a Clerical Skills Training Awards Ceremony at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Carroll Community College, 1601 Washington Road, Westminster.
The 11 participants in the Clerical Skills Training will have completed an 18-week program that includes math, English, typing, word processing and job search skills. Funded by JTPA, the program is offered by the CCC Continuing Education Department.
Speakers at the ceremony will include Dr. Joseph Shields, CCC president; Diane Massey, JTPA program administrator; Sharon Scobie, clerical skills coordinator-instructor; and the Carroll County commissioners.

Banquet will recognize school bus drivers
The Carroll County Public Schools Pupil Transportation Department and School Bus Contractors' Association are sponsoring their first School Bus Drivers and Assistants Recognition and Safety Awards Banquet.
The banquet will recognize the 200 drivers and assistants for their years of service to the students of Carroll County.
The Carroll County commissioners, school board members and school board administrative staff are also expected to attend the banquet, which will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Frock's Sunnybrook Farm on Bond Street in Westminster.
