THE BALTIMORE SUN

Five people, two alleged sellers and three alleged buyers of marijuana, were arrested after a raid at a Westminster couple's apartment in the 300 block of E. Main St. last week, according to police.

Craig C. Maize, 32, and his wife, Jacqueline, 31, were arrested by members of the Carroll County Drug Task Force, who accused them of selling marijuana at their apartment.

Officers said they found marijuana on Gary L. Burnham, 33, of Manchester; Christopher M. Long, 30, of Finksburg; and David A. Wolford, 28, of Westminster.

Marijuana was found in several places in the apartment, and officers recovered several ounces during the raid, according to court records.

Also recovered were two scales, water pipes and a supply of small plastic bags.

Police charged the Maizes with two counts of manufacturing, distributing and dispensing marijuana; possession with intent to distribute; conspiracy; and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Police said Mr. Burnham and Mr. Long were charged with possession of marijuana and conspiracy.

Mr. Wolford was charged with five counts of possession of marijuana and one count of conspiracy.

All had been released from the detention center by the weekend, according to a sheriff's deputy.
