Reward offered in theft of bicycles from trailer
Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for the arrest and indictment of someone responsible for breaking into a storage trailer behind PJ's Ski and Sport between 10 p.m. Nov. 26 and 9:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Festival in Bel Air.
More than $6,000 worth of bicycles, still unassembled and in shipping boxes, were stolen.
Witnesses said two men were selling similarly packaged bicycles at the Patapsco flea market Nov. 27 and 28.
One man is described as white, in his early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and stocky with blond hair. He may be using the alias of Robert Todd, authorities say.
The second man has a similar description, except he has dark hair.
Both were seen in a white Chevrolet van.

Cigarettes, coffee stolen during break-in at diner
An employee of Margie's Diner in the 1500 block of Pulaski Highway in Havre de Grace told sheriff's deputies that someone broke into the business Jan. 21, damaging a window frame and lock, and stole cigarettes, coffee and money.
The loss was estimated at $550.
* 400 block of Wispy Willow Court: Theft of 1988 Kawasaki jet ski, cable lock and padlock from residence Jan. 29. The loss was estimated at $2,525.
* 4300 block of Greys Run Circle: Motor vehicle tampering at residence Jan. 26. Theft of tools. The loss was estimated at $2,304.
* 2000 block of Hillcroft Drive: Breaking and entering of a residence Jan. 28. Theft of money and jewelry and damage to a window. The loss was estimated at $2,010.
* 300 block of Adair Court: Theft of a 1977 Ford from a residence Jan. 31. The vehicle was recovered after it was abandoned in a ditch. The loss was estimated at $1,000.
