Soccer Under-10 boys -- Scott Evelius scored his second goal with only seconds remaining to give the Screamin' Eagles a 5-4 win over the USA Nationals.

John Wah scored twice for the winners (3-0), and Casey Johnson added a score.

Jay Gernand, Paul Giove, Matt Welsh and Justin Starnes had the Nationals' goals.

Jamison Marslender scored four goals to lead the North Carroll Hurricanes to an 8-2 victory over the South Carroll Greyhounds.

Scott Rogers, Sergio Loynaz, Chris Adami and Jeff Mech also tallied for the Hurricanes.

Brandon Franklin and Matt Jolly had the Greyhounds' scores.

Eric Zimmer scored four goals for the North Carroll Rowdies. But it wasn't enough, as the Gatorade Gators made off with an 8-4 triumph.

Kevin Brothers scored three goals for Gatorade, Adam Ridgeway two, and Shane Anderson, Kurt Fiore and Phillip Serio one each.

Mount Airy stopped Evans' Tire, 6-1. Justin McMahon scored twice for the winners, and Jeff Ponten, Mike Tucci, Dirk Sampsell and Josh Weozka had one goal each.

Brian Bubnash had Evans' score.

Under-10 girls -- Katie Selby and Joanna Weiland each scored twice to pace Westminster County Lanes' 7-3 win over the Calverton Fillies.

Meghan Malehorn, Mary Beth O'Banion and Angel Aversa also had goals for Westminster.

Erin LaMotte booted in five goals to lead the North Carroll Panthers to a 10-1 victory over Mount Airy.

Amy Bromwell and Rebkah Finch each added two scores for the winners, who lead the division with a 2-0 record, and Heather Tomko also had a goal. Margaret Cockran had Mount Airy's goal.

Under-12 boys -- Brandon Leister scored three goals to lead Westminster to a 7-4 victory over the North Carroll Spurs.

Jason Zittle added two scores for the winners, and Jeffrey Murray and Patrick D'Anthony each added one. Jesse Gelb had all four Spurs' goals.

The Sacred Heart Terminators dropped the Deer Park Bucks, 9-5. Greg Tyng scored twice for the Bucks, and Andrew Rogers, Andrew Fletcher and Ian Redding once each.

The South Carroll Greyhounds dropped a 12-4 verdict to the Hereford Ravens. Mike Daugherty had two goals for the Greyhounds; David Centenio and Ryan Cummings each scored once.

Willet's Painting and the Vee's Tees Kickers battled to a 7-7 tie.

Jonnie Litsinger's four goals paced the Willet's attack; Brandon Caprarola, Nathan Krida and Justin Merson each added one.

Jason Holiman led Vee's with three goals. Scoring one each for that squad were Kyle Zentz, Bunky Blizzard, Matt Gist and Mike McMullen.

The North Carroll Comets edged the Hagerstown Hustlers, 6-5. Ryan Cardone and Kevin Chrest paced the winners with three and two goals, respectively; Trampis Cullison added one.

Matt Becker scored three goals, as his Freedom Blazers fought to a 5-5 tie with the Olney Tigers. Kevin Schreiner and Robert Koch scored the other Freedom goals.

Caspian SC dropped the Spring Grove Hurricanes, 6-2. Joshua Ches paced the winners' attack with three goals, and Mandy Komar had two. Amir Khaksari also scored for Caspian.

Under-14 boys -- Caspian II topped Walkersville, 7-5, as Mike Rongine scored three times and Mandy Komar twice. Danny Glass and Chris Brothers also had goals for Caspian.

The Freedom Rangers beat Watson's Sacred Heart, 15-3. Keith Sullivan, Anthony Prematta and Chad Parker each scored three goals for the Rangers, and Joe Vogelpohl had two. Scoring one apiece for Freedom were Andrew Duncan, Matt Lane, Josh Phelps and Chas Smith.

Westminster Fletcher Funeral Home beat the Deer Park Strike Force, 8-3. Beau Ridgway scored twice for Deer Park.

Rick Wareham, Adam White and Ray Tignall each scored two goals to lead Freedom FC to an 8-4 verdict over Deer Park. Dale Turek and Mike Golden had the other Freedom goals. Troy Laur and Paul Tyng each scored twice for Deer Park.

The Westminster Karate got past the Glyndon Thunderbolts, 5-3. Matt Towns led the Karate with two goals; Jeff Cheng, Kevin Schultz and Brandon Severn each added one.

Freedom ASI topped the North Carroll Strikers, 17-3. Cap Poklemba scored three goals for Freedom; Brian Levin, Kevin Roy, Rob Lee and Scott Sanders each scored two.

Scoring one goal apeice for Freedom were Steve Partenope, J. R. Haddaway, Mike Haskell, Ben Scher, David Harris and Brad Centenio.

Eric Bonito scored twice for North Carroll, and Danny Terlizzi once.

Rich Dawson scored four goals, as his Caspian SC downed Mount Airy, 13-1. Eddie Harrison tacked on three scores, Mike Amoss, two, and Kyle Gagnon, Adam Fisher, Kevin Greene and Jeff Shartner, one each for Caspian. Andrew Duhigg had Mount Airy's goal.

Under-16 boys -- Caspian SC beat the Red Lion Lions, 15-2. Chris Boundy and Julio Barrera-Oro paced the winners' attack with four and three goals, respectively. James Smyrnioudis and Scott Shartner each scored twice for Caspian; David Rongione, Nick Beser, Heath Neiderer and Tim Payne had one goal apiece.

Over-30 Coeds -- The Shooters improved their record to 3-0 with a 5-3 decision over the Allied Signal Soccer Club. Dave Trumbo scored twice for the Shooters.

Tony Hong scored two goals for Allied Signal, and Richard Szymkiewicz had its other score.

Allied Signal TQS beat the Rough Riders, 12-2, as Jeff Bates and Steve Brumfitt keyed the attack with four and three goals, respectively. Terry Wittstadt scored twice for the winners.

Gerry Marshall and Fred Cunningham scored the Rough Riders' goals.

Goals by Chet Silfee and Rick Ferraro were all that Legg-Mason could manage in a 7-2 loss to El Serrano's of York, Pa.

Under-12 girls -- Abby Pyzik scored two goals as the South Carroll SC Devils topped the Linganore Lasers, 5-3.

Mount Airy and the Deer Park Lightning fought to a 4-4 tie. Emily Wilbur scored two goals for Mount Airy; Emily Wolfing and Tracy MacFarland chipped in with one apiece.

Jeannetta McGettigan, Chrissy Wojtaszer, Ginger Meyers and Desiree Wagner had Deer Park's scores.

Under-14 girls -- Jessica Wolfing scored four goals to lead Mount Airy to a 7-1 win over LAYAA. Pam Seymer had two scores for Mount Airy and Christina Samuel, one.

The Freedom Dynamo topped Charles Carroll, 15-0, as Sandy Lagana led the way with four goals. Jen Katz and Jen Berrarducci each added three and Kylie Skinner chipped in with two.

The North Carroll Soccers took a 7-4 verdict from Linganore. Danielle Shearer, Teresa Barnes and Kristina Thompson scored two goals apiece for the winners.

The Tarheels improved to 3-0 with a 5-4 win over the Bullettes. Bridget Geiman had three goals for the Tarheels, and Katie Redding and Anna Walker each added a score.

The South Carroll SC Devils scored an 11-3 triumph over the Deer Park Dynamite.

Amy Martinez, Lindsay Gover and Pun Chittchang each scored twice for the winners. Tanya Bianca, Brenda Hovanec, Courtney McCray, Andrea Podobnic and Lori Coon each tallied once.

Stephanie Roth led all scorers with three goals for Deer Park.

Under-16 girls -- The Cavaliers nipped Manchester KKCTO, 2-1, behind goals from Kelly Harmer and Michelle Mitchell. Carrie Hale had Manchester's goal.
