POLICE* Westminster: A 40-year-old Union Bridge man...



* Westminster: A 40-year-old Union Bridge man was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and with possession of paraphernalia in the city on Friday. Terry O. Nokes of Main Street was held on $2,000 bond, according to Westminster police.

A Middlebrooke resident told police Thursday that somebody had driven a vehicle over two bushes on her property near New Year's Day.


* Union Mills: Pleasant Valley and Westminster fire companies responded to a furnace fire on Littlestown Pike at 4:47 p.m. Sunday. Units were out for about an hour.

* Westminster: Westminster responded for a fire alarm on North Gorsuch Road at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday. Units were out for 25 minutes.

Westminster responded for an auto fire on Glenbrook Drive at 6:27 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 56 minutes.
