Clerk becomes lawyer at Hyatt & Peters

Lindsay Barranco has joined the Annapolis law offices of Hyatt & Peters in the practice of law.

Before passing the Maryland State Bar examination, Ms. Barranco, a resident of the St. Margarets area, was a law clerk with Hyatt & Peters.

She will specialize in domestic relations and will be involved with criminal defense and juvenile and general practice work.

Consultant hired as account executive

Crosby Communications Inc. has hired Beth Loden Shepherd, a marketing communications consultant and past community director for the county March of Dimes, as an account executive.

The Annapolis resident worked for six years as director of sales promotions, branch advertising and special events at USF&G;, a Baltimore-based insurance company.

tTC Ms. Shepherd is on the Anne Arundel County Commission for Women executive committee.

Iacoboni new head of charity group

The Associated Italian American Charities has elected Thomas J. Iacoboni as president.

Mr. Iacoboni, a member of the Anne Arundel Utility Contractors Association and president of Iacoboni Site Specialists Inc., was elected for a two-year term.

Builders groups elect presidents

The Anne Arundel County and Annapolis chapters of the Home Builders Association of Maryland (HBAM) have elected new presidents for the 1994 year.

Spurgeon R. Eismeier Sr. has been elected president of the Anne Arundel County Chapter.

He is senior vice president of construction for the Michael T. Rose Cos. and has 30 years experience in construction.

A resident of Annapolis, he has served on the Governor's Task Force for Maryland Building Performance Standards and was the HBAM representative to the Anne Arundel County Land Use Advisory Committee.

Rocco Pigneri, vice president of land development and construction for Gilligan Development, was elected president of the Annapolis chapter of HBAM.

A resident of Bowie, Mr. Pigneri is the winner of the 1993 Ace Award.

Smith new manager of Harundale bank

The Bank of Baltimore's Harundale Mall office recently welcomed Kevin B. Smith as its new manager.

Mr. Smith, a 13-year veteran of lending and branch administration at the Bank of Baltimore, has been an officer since 1987.

A member of the Annapolis Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Smith serves on the board of the Student Marketing Enterprise Foundation of the Anne Arundel County School system.
