Harry's Lunch, a popular Main Street restaurant in Westminster, has been burglarized for the second time in two months, city police reported yesterday.
The most recent burglary resulted in the theft of $2,700 from the safe, restaurant officials reported to police.
A5 Police said they have no suspects in either case.
* Westminster: A resident of Bishop Street told city police someone threw eggs at his car while it was parked near his residence Saturday. The damage is estimated at $400.
A Wampler Lane resident reported someone broke into his van while it was parked near his house Thursday and stole articles valued at $2,258.
A resident of East Green Street reported someone poured an unknown substance into the gasoline tank of her car while it was parked near her home Dec. 13. The damage to the engine is estimated at $2,000.
On Dec. 14 someone poured sugar water into the gas tank of a car parked on Windsor Drive. The damage to the vehicle was not known when the incident was reported to police.
A resident of Charles Street told police someone stole a change purse from her house Saturday. The purse contained $65.
A Pennsylvania Avenue resident told police someone broke the rear window of her car on Wednesday. The damage is estimated at $150.
Someone broke into a vehicle parked on Ewing Drive on Thursday and removed items valued at $1,000 police were told.
* Westminster: Westminster and Hampstead responded for a chimney fire on Leister's Church Road at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday. Units were out for 54 minutes.
