American Properties adds new associates
American Properties has announced the appointment of three sales associates to the company's Ellicott City office.
Ted Bosse IV and Debbie Bosse have joined American Properties as real estate agents with responsibilities in the areas of new home sales, re-sales and the location and sales of individual sites for custom building.
Ann Marie Freter will be a real estate agent specializing in home sales.
Mecca is director of information services
Rosemarie Mecca has been named director of health information services for Allied Signal Technical Services Corp. in Columbia.
She will be responsible for the management of the Health Information Services, including the Health Care Financing Administration Facilities management contract.
Before she was appointed director, Ms. Mecca was manager of the program business management, space operations.
Two named directors at Vantage House
Vantage House Life Care Retirement Community in Columbia has announced the appointment of Donald C. Beck as director of food services and Rebecca R. Fitchett as director of resident services.
Mr. Beck was previously employed with the Seiler Corporation and responsible for food operations at Greater Laurel Beltsville Hospital.
Mrs. Fitchett was director of resident services at Chevy Chase Retirement House in Washington.
Langan promoted at Turf Valley
Patrick Langan has been promoted to rooms division manager of Turf Valley Hotel and Country Club in Ellicott City.
Mr. Langan has worked for Turf Valley since 1991, when he was hired as a front desk clerk.
Country club names directors, executives
The Cattail Creek Country Club in Glenwood recently announced its board of directors and executive positions.
Elected board members are Paul Latta of The Rouse Co.; Jack Stamerro of Berman, Goldman & Ribakow; Circuit Judge James B. Dudley; William Davidow of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston and Richard Dietrich of Awalt Builders.
Executive officers are: Jack Bode of Bode Floors, president; and Dr. George Hurwitz, executive vice president. Both were named to the board of directors.
Bonnie L. Wilson joins PRIME staff
Bonnie L. Wilson of Marriottsville has joined the counseling staff of the PRIME Employee Assistance Program Inc. in Baltimore.
She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Welsh recognized for outstanding service
Thomas J. Welsh, branch manager with the Columbia office of Investment Management & Research has been named to the All-American Team of the American Group of mutual funds for outstanding service to investors in Howard County.
Mr. Welsh has been with Investment Management & Research since 1989.
