Sparked by senior G Tracy Bergan (20.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds), the Greyhounds are averaging 86.0 points. F B. J. Pendleton (23 points, 9.3 rebounds) has been a force inside. Loyola also is receiving fine production from freshmen Darius Johnson (13.6 ppg, 6.7 rpg) and Julian Tate (10.7 ppg). American has shot 32 percent and is averaging 57.7 points. Junior G Tim Fudd (15.7 points, 6.3 rebounds) leads the Eagles.
