BURGLARY: Central District -- The Lexington Poe Youth Center was broken into Friday or Saturday. It was not known how the burglar got in. The value of the property that was removed from the recreation center in the 700 block of W. Lexington St. was not known.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A woman was robbed of $600 at gunpoint as she walked in the 100 block of E. Pratt St. Sunday afternoon.

ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Western District -- A West Baltimore woman was robbed of $188 near Mondawmin Saturday afternoon after being assaulted by an unknown suspect.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a store in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Sunday and took property valued at $210.

ASSAULT/SHOOTING: Southeastern District -- A man was shot at Sunday afternoon after an argument in the 700 block of S. Montford St. A man approached the victim and asked for a match. When the victim replied that he had no match, the argument began. The gunman fired two shots at the victim and fled. Both shots missed.

LARCENY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 600 block of N. Lakewood Ave. discovered that handguns valued at $1100 had been removed from under his bed sometime between the Nov. 22 and Dec. 4.

HIT-AND-RUN DEATH: Northeastern District -- A driver who left the scene of a fatal accident was charged with automobile manslaughter, homicide with a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a fatal accident and failure to render aid to an injured person after striking and killing a 15-year-old shortly after 10 p.m. Friday. Charged was Lawrence Donell Carver of the 3200 block of Meadow Valley Dr. in Abingdon, in Harford County. The victim was identified as Diquann Jennings of the 900 block of Kenwood Ave. The youth was struck on Luzerne Ave.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone kicked in the basement door of a house in the 4700 block of Glenarm Ave. and took a CD player valued at $800 and an undetermined amount of cash.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man was robbed of $50 Sunday night when a gunman approached him in the 5000 block of Park Heights Ave. and demanded his money.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A man was beaten with a miniature baseball bat in the 4700 block of Pimlico Road Sunday afternoon in a dispute over a leather coat. A man approached the victim and beat him about the head and face with the bat after the victim refused to hand over the assailant's coat.

Baltimore County

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Wilkens District -- Someone attempted to break into the Leeds Federal Bank in the 1100 block of Maiden Choice Lane sometime Saturday or Sunday. A front door of the bank was pried open, but the would-be thief couldn't open a second door.

STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- A red 1988 Mazda RX 7 valued $8,000 was stolen from from the 1300 block of Airlie Way between 1:30 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone broke into a storage locker for an apartment complex in the 7900 block of Bellridge Road between Nov. 30 and Dec. 5. Stolen were a water bed, personal papers and log books, valued at $2,100.

ARMED ROBBERY: Essex District -- A man entered a Rural Farm store in the 1300 block of Windless Dr. Sunday night and robbed the cashier of $50. The man held his hand in his pocket and told the cashier he had a gun.

BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Thieves broke into a florist shop in the 4700 block of Ridge Road sometime between 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday and stole a copier valued at $1,000.
