POLICE LOG
* Elkridge: 6300 block of Hanover Crossing Way: A phone, an answering machine and wine were stolen from a model home Nov. 20 or 21.
* Ellicott City: 3100 block of Normandy Woods Drive: Four hubcaps were stripped from a dark blue Ford Escort Tuesday.
4400 block of Bonnie Branch Road: Someone attempted to steal a compact disc player from a black Isuzu pickup truck Tuesday or Wednesday.
3300 block of Oakwest Drive: Someone vandalized a blue Chevrolet Cavalier last Monday or Tuesday. Police said the vehicle's headlight had been pulled out, its fender bent and its body scratched and dented.
3200 block of Bethany Lane: Tools were taken from a storage trailer at Pools Unlimited after someone pried open a lock.
