@ In etchings, paintings on paper and larger canvases, Deborah Donelson uses the female form as a means to probe issues of the individual being and the nature of humanity. Recently, her work has become larger in both scale and content, according to a statement from the Gomez Gallery, where she will open in a two-person show Saturday. The other artist is Patrick McGuire, whose figurative sculptures, he says, "are like phrases from the text of a story about human beings and their relationship to the earth and the other creatures that live with us." The show will run through Dec. 31 at Gomez, 836 Leadenhall St. For information, call (410) 752-2080.
