Peggy Boutilier, senior, Roland Park, midfield -- A first-team All-Metro pick last year, Boutilier is the area's best all-around player. She scored 11 goals and had three assists for the No. 6 Reds as they won a fifth straight Association of Independent Schools A Division title. The complete package of skills, game sense and athletic ability, Boutilier had no weaknesses. Lethal on corners, she had three goals in a single game. Despite being the attack half of the Reds' two-girls midfield, Boutilier also excelled defensively. Often the key to the Reds' transition, she could control the ball and move it past anyone. Boutilier earned first-team All-State honors. A three-time AIS All-Star, Boutilier played in last summer's Olympic Festival and attended the United States Field Hockey Association's A Camp, the highest level of its Olympic Development-style Futures Program. Also an All-Metro lacrosse player, Boutilier has signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Virginia.
