The Jewish Federation of Howard County will conduct its 1994 United Jewish Appeal-Federation Campaign Kickoff Event at 8 p.m. Sunday at Kahler Hall in the Village of Harper's Choice.
Coffee and cake will be served at 7:30 p.m.
The event will feature Ernest W. Michel, who will share his experiences as a Holocaust survivor and chairman of the World Gathering of Jewish Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem in 1981.
He is former executive vice president of the New York UJA-Federation; and co-chairman of the New York Holocaust Museum.
Mr. Michel is the author of the autobiography "Survival Is Not Enough."
