Coke machine reported stolen in Hanover

Someone stole a Coca-Cola vending machine worth $5,000 from in front of a market in Hanover Wednesday morning.

An official of Twin Oaks Farm Market told police the theft occurred between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. The machine is red, white and black and has a 1993 All Star baseball game logo on it.

* Severn: A woman's 14-karat gold-and-diamond ring and bracelet worth $5,100 were reported stolen from a home in the 7900 block of Paddock Court Tuesday. The homeowner said he discovered the jewelry was missing Oct. 3, but delayed reporting the missing items because he wanted to search the home first.
