Association to discuss Route 32 ramp


The Savage Community Association will have its general meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Carroll Baldwin Hall. The topic will be the recent closing of the Route 32 ramp to southbound Route 1.

State and county highway officials, corridor industrial park business representatives and County Councilwoman Shane Pendergrass will discuss the situation and consider the alternatives.

* North Laurel: 9900 block of Hughes Ave.: A computer was stolen Wednesday night. Police said the theft may be related to a domestic dispute.

* Jessup: 9500 block of Route 1: A blue 1984 Honda CRX with Maryland tags AHY 711 was stolen from the Private Care Auto on Wednesday.

8100 block of Dorsey Run Road: Someone shot a bullet through a white boat parked in the victim's front yard Monday or Tuesday.
