Greg Kyler's 9-yard touchdown with 1:34 remaining in regulation lifted No. 2 and visiting Poly (8-0) to a 7-0 victory over No. 3 Gilman (7-1) in a non-league football game yesterday.
Kyler's sprint, his 14th touchdown of the season, capped a 12-play, 52-yard drive.
The Engineers' defense stopped Gilman on downs and ran out the remaining 40 seconds.
