BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone forced open the rear window of a house in the 1000 block of N. Stricker St. sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole a television set and a box of soap powder valued together at $205.
BURGLARY: Western District -- The front window of a house in the 100 block of N. Amity St. was forced open sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday by someone who removed an oven, hot plate and a coffee maker, all valued at $164.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A garage in the first block of N. Carey St. was broken into sometime between October 9 and Wednesday by someone who stole a bicycle, assorted tools and clothing, all valued at $245.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A man and woman were seen forcing open the front door of the House of Style in the 2500 block of Edmondson Ave. about 5:15 a.m. Wednesday and stealing a color television set and 8 pairs of hair clippers. The value of the stolen property was unknown.
ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Western District -- A woman told police that a man pointed a gun at her just before noon Wednesday in the 2300 block of W. North Ave. and robbed her of 5 gold rings valued at $500.
STOLEN AUTO: Northwestern District -- A white 1993 Honda Accord with Maryland license tags AVW 984 was stolen sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday from the 6100 block of Park Heights Ave..
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- The terrace door of an apartment in the 3600 block of Edmondson Avenue was forced open sometime between October 16 and Wednesday by someone who stole a color television set valued at $300.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A woman told police that she was robbed just before 10 a.m. Wednesday while in the 2300 block of Garrison Blvd. by a man wielding a sawed-off shotgun.
STABBING: Northwestern District -- A man told police that he was stabbed in the back about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday by a man who attempted to rob him and his wife as they were getting into their car in the 3600 block of Dolfield Ave.
STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A silver 1989 Buick Century with Maryland license tags YLC 309 was stolen between 3:10 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday from the 3100 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway.
PURSE SNATCH: Northern District -- A woman told police that her purse containing $95 was stolen from her about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday by a man who grabbed it as she was getting out of a car in the 5000 block of Sunset Rd.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an unlocked door of a house in the 4000 block of Roland Ave. just before 2 a.m. Wednesday and took a cordless telephone valued at $100.
ARSON ATTEMPT: Northern District -- Someone attempted to set fire to an apartment in the 2600 block of Loyola Southway about 1:25 a.m. Wednesday by lighting some debris in a kitchen trash can. There was minor damage.
STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Police said a blue 1985 Honda Accord with Maryland license tags YVX 910 was stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday from the 2900 block of Guilford Ave.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- A garage in the 200 block of Churchwardens Rd. was broken into sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday by someone who stole a car telephone valued at $70.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into a garage in the 5600 block of Enderly Rd. between Tuesday and Wednesday and removed a bicycle valued at $260.

ARREST: Woodlawn District -- A 17-year-old male was arrested about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 6900 block of Security blvd. for stealing a 1993 Honda.
BURGLARY: Towson -- Someone broke into a house in the 100 block of Brandon Rd. between 7 a.m. and 6:43 p.m. Wednesday by removing a rear basement window and stealing a video cassette recorder, 2 leather jackets and 2 handguns.
AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville -- A purple 1987 Toyota 4-Runner with Maryland license tags 534939 was stolen between 8 a.m. and noon Wednesday from the 1200 block of Cowpens Ave.
