ASSAULT & ROBBERY: Eastern District -- An employee of a Belair Road auto dealership was attacked in the 2300 block of Hoffman St. early yesterday morning by two men and two women who struck him with an unknown weapon, causing a severe head injury. The victim's car, a 1993 Ford Probe with dealer tags, was recovered in the 2400 block of Llewelyn Ave. The victim, who refused to cooperate with police, is listed in fair condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A 22-year-old resident of the 3000 block of Thorndale Ave. was walking in an alley behind the 3600 block of Reisterstown Road with his girlfriend Wednesday when a man approached and told him not to hold the woman's hand. When the couple ignored the man and continued on, the man pulled out a handgun and fired twice, hitting the victim in the right hip and right foot. The gunman escaped, and the victim was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he was treated and released. The woman was not injured.
CARJACKING: Central District -- A woman was in her 1982 Chevrolet Chevette in the 500 block of W. Preston St. Wednesday night when a man forced her out of the vehicle and drove off. The car, with Maryland tags PHS662, has not been found.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A Charles Village resident was walking in the 3200 block of N. Calvert St. Wednesday when two men robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money.
BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man who entered W & C confectionery store in the 1500 block of N. Stricker St. Wednesday and stole food items and other property.
THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1600 block of Delano Court Wednesday and stole nearly $2,400.
THEFT/ARREST: Southern District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Safeway market in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. Wednesday without paying for a case of disposable diapers valued at nearly $150.
THEFT:/ARREST: Southern District -- A woman was arrested Wednesday when she attempted to leave the Basics food store in the 800 block of E. Fort Ave. without paying for meat products valued at nearly $13.
STOLEN CAR: Southern District -- A 1982 Toyota Corolla was stolen Wednesday from the 200 block of Parkin St.
THEFT: Southern District -- A tape player valued at more than $70 was stolen from a 1992 Chevrolet owned by a resident of the 900 block of Argyle Ave. while it was parked in the 200 block of Emory St. Wednesday.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of Winterbourne Road was walking near her home Wednesday when a man robbed her of $20.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- After ordering a beer at the Jo-Neis Tavern in the 2500 block of Hollins St. Wednesday, a man pulled out a handgun and ordered an employee to give him the contents of the cash register. The gunman escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $500 was stolen from a house in the 3200 block of Windsor Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through the basement.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Winchester St. was near his home Wednesday when a man shoved him to the pavement and robbed him of $100.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A TV set valued at $300 was stolen from a house in the 3200 block of Clifton Ave. Wednesday.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Mosher St. between Saturday and Wednesday and stole property valued at nearly $350.
BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered the Rent-A-Center at the Perring Parkway Shopping Center in the 2400 block of Cleanleigh Drive through a rear door Wednesday morning and stole $100 from an office safe.
BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Rolls of quarters and dimes, all valued at $15, were stolen from an apartment in the 9100 block of Old Harford Road Wednesday.
THEFT: Parkville District -- A radio and custom speakers, all valued at more than $1,200, were stolen from a car parked in the first block of Spindrift Circle Wednesday by someone who entered the vehicle after breaking a window.
