Students to walk for funds to fight world hunger


The Liberty High SHOP (Students Helping Other People) Club and National Honor Society students will participate in the CROP Walk on Sunday to raise money to fight world hunger. The money made will be spent on farm machinery, seed, food, water and other items.

The E.S.C.A.P.E. ministries of South Carolina and North Howard County are supporting the fund-raiser. Anyone interested in participating in the walk may meet at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Main Street in Sykesville, at 1:30 p.m.
