Bosnian Serb authorities in BANJA LUKA blocked U.N. aid convoys that were headed for two besieged Muslim towns, MAGLAJ and TESANJ, that have been cut off from regular food supplies since June.
The U.N. resumed its operation to evacuate the sick and wounded from Bosnia after a three-day suspension. The medical airlift was suspended after the U.N. accused Serbs and Muslims of using the operation for their own political ends.
There was heavy sniping in SARAJEVO and around MOSTAR, with three killed and six wounded in the fighting.
In Croatia, three Belgian peacekeepers were disarmed and slightly injured Saturday in a scuffle with Serb militiamen, Belgian army officials in Brussels said.
