Chesapeake-BC routs Owings Mills


Jermaine Johnson completed 14 of 16 passes for 230 yards and four touchdowns, leading Chesapeake-BC (6-0, 5-0) past Owings Mills (2-4, 1-2), 50-12, in a Baltimore County 1A-2A League game.

The Bayhawks scored 21 points in the opening quarter, highlighted by two scoring pass plays by Jermaine Johnson to Jason Johnson, who had five receptions for 108 yards.

Steve Kelley rushed for 101 yards for Chesapeake and had a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown.

Randallstown 20, Dundalk 14

Junior running back Theodore Williamson rushed 10 times for 92 yards and scored every point for visiting Randallstown (2-4, 2-2) as theydowned host Dundalk (3-3, 3-2) in a 3A-4A Baltimore County League game.

Broadneck 28, Laurel 20

Sean Ryan threw for three touchdowns, two to Jason Smith, in leading host Broadneck (4-2) past Laurel in a non-league game.

Ryan, the area's leading passer, completed 13 of 28 for 200 yards. Smith, the area's leading receiver, had seven receptions for 127 yards.

N. Harford 14, John Carroll 13

Sophomore running back Greg Pardew capped a 79-yard drive with a 3-yard touchdown run and senior Matt Rohlfing ran for a two-point conversion to lift visiting North Harford over John Carroll (1-5, 0-3) in a Harford County League game.

LaPlata 27, South River 14

Booker Coombs rushed 17 times for 170 yards and two touchdowns, leading LaPlata (5-1) past visiting South River, in a non-league game. South River led 14-7 at halftime, but Coombs scored his first touchdown from 15 yards.

Dulaney 12, Parkville 8

Jeff Williams' 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter proved to be the game-winner as Dulaney (1-5, 1-3) defeated visiting Parkville (1-5, 1-4), in a Baltimore County 3A-4A League game.

Williams completed 10 of 19 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown of 31 yards to Jeff Thomas.
