Wilde Lake stuns No. 5 Centennial Girls sports

Senior striker Nat Froman scored the game-winner 11 minutes into the second half as host Wilde Lake (3-1-1, 1-0) upset No. 5 Centennial, 1-0, yesterday in girls soccer. The Eagles drop to 5-1 overall.

* Hammond 4, Mount Hebron 0: Senior striker Kisha Jett had two goals and an assist as No. 2 Hammond (5-1, 1-0) defeated host Mount Hebron (4-2, 0-1) in a Howard County game.


* Howard 3, Oakland Mills 3: Amy Shourds, Karen Krupka and Katie Kile each scored goals for Howard (0-4-1, 0-0-1) in its double-overtime tie with No. 7 Oakland Mills in a Howard County League game.

* Dulaney 14, Woodlawn 0: Dulaney scored 10 first-half goals to run past visiting Woodlawn. Amy Vaughn scored five goals for the fourth-ranked Lions (5-0).


* Glenelg 1, Atholton 0, OT: Molly Hood's goal 1:30 into overtime lifted host Glenelg (5-1) over Atholton.

* Broadneck 3, Southern-AA 0: Molly Branning, Stephanie Dull and Katie Kremerer each scored goals in Broadneck's victory over visiting Southern-AA in an Anne Arundel County game.

* North County 2, Northeast 1: T.C. Horney's goal at the eleven minute mark gave broke a 1-1 tie as North County (4-2) defeated visiting Northeast (2-4).

* Patapsco 6, Parkville 5: Samantha Porter totaled four goals and an assist as Patapsco (3-2) downed visiting Parkville. Debbie Curran had three goals and two assists for the Knights.

* Perry Hall 5, Franklin 1: Junior halfback Jessica Loehr scored two goals to lead host Perry Hall (5-1, 5-0) past Franklin (5-1, 4-1) in a 3A-4A Baltimore County League game.

* Western 6, Lake Clifton 2: Freshman striker Kerri Harmon scored five goals to lift Western (6-0, 6-0) by host Lake Clifton in a Baltimore City League game.

* Kenwood 8, Randallstown 0: Junior midfielder Kelly Reabe had a hat trick and senior forward Stacey Leidner added two goals as host Kenwood (3-2, 3-1) shut out Randallstown (0-5, 0-4) in a 3A-4A Baltimore County League game.

* Owings Mills 2, Chesapeake-BC 0: Owings Mills used two unassisted second half goals to defeat Chesapeake.


* Eastern Tech 5, Lansdowne 1: Junior forward Christy Cole had a hat trick and one assist as host Eastern Tech beat Lansdowne in a Baltimore Coutnty 3A-4A game.

* Southern-B 1, Patterson 0: Yadria Rodriguez scored the game's only goal in visiting Patterson's (5-1, 5-3) victory over Southern in a Baltimore City league game.

Field hockey

* Fallston 4, C.M. Wright 0: Senior attack Pam Gauss scored twice in the first half to lead No. 5 Fallston (6-0-1, 4-0) past C.M. Wright (3-4, 3-1) in a Harford County League game.

* Towson 3, Catonsville 1: No. 14 Towson used three second-half goals to get past host Catonsville (0-5).

* Dulaney 3, Woodlawn 0: Courtney Ball scored two goals as Dulaney shut down Woodlawn. Dulaney held the Warriors without a shot on goal.


* Seton Keough 1, Glenelg Country 0: Katie Sparks' first goal of the year propelled Seton Keough (3-2-3) over Glenelg Country. Rachael Mocney assisted on the winning goal.

* Arundel 1, Annapolis 0: Senior midfielder Lesley Knowles scored six minutes into the overtime to lift visiting Arundel (5-2, 4-1) over Annapolis (3-2-1, 3-1).

* Bel Air 3, North Harford 0: Jen Conway, Jamie Kunkel, Barbara Ingrao each scored and Jessica McGreen had 12 saves, leading Bel Air (6-0-1, 3-0) over North Harford, in a Harford County League game.

* Southern-AA 2, Broadneck 1, OT: Delia Cavey scored the game-winner in overtime off an assist from Laura Stockett as Southern (2-5) defeated visiting Broadneck.

* South Carroll 3, Westminster 2: Lindsey Vosloh's goal with less than three minutes left gave No. 10 South Carroll (6-1, 5-1) a victory over visiting Westminster (4-5, 2-2) in a Carroll County League game.

* Severn 1, St. Paul's 0: Erin Fowler scored in the first half as Severn edged host St. Paul's.


* Notre Dame 4, St. Timothy's 0: Senior Kira Nazelrod scored two goals to lead Notre Dame Prep (5-0-1) over host St. Timothy's.

* McDonogh 3, Howard 0: McDonogh shut out Howard in a non-league game. After taking a 1-0 lead at the half the Eagles (6-1) pushed two more goals in the second half.
