Nabbs Creek to hear of water plan

The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works has scheduled a public hearing for tomorrow to tell residents of Nabbs Creek about the plan to extend public water service to their area.

Officials will tell residents about the petition process, costs and payment plans, and how they can reject the service before the county signs a contract.

If residents want the service, it will cost a total of $174,268 for the 24 properties. The price per property owner will depend on the size of each owner's land.

The meeting is slated for 7 p.m. at Freetown Elementary School, 7904 Freetown Rd. in Glen Burnie.
