Deliveryman, pizzeria robbed at gunpoint

A man with a 9 mm handgun robbed a pizza deliveryman and an Oakland Mills pizza shop as the worker returned to the store early yesterday morning.

At 12:40 a.m., police said, a hooded gunman approached the employee in a rear parking lot of Pizza Boli's in the 7100 block of Oakland Mills Road.

The robber pulled out a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the employee before forcing him inside the store, which he also robbed, police said.

The robber is described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin mustache.

He was wearing a dark blue jacket and blue pants.

Anyone with information should call Howard County police at 313-2266.
