Glenn Feveryear wins model rocketry trophy
Glenn Feveryear of Delta, Pa., was awarded the National Association of Rocketry National Champion Trophy for the 1992-1993 contest year at the National Association of Rocketry annual meet in Middletown, Md. The award is given to the modeler who accumulates the most points during the competition season.
The National Association of Rocketry is the official nonprofit organization for nonprofessional consumer rocketry.
Mr. Feveryear has been actively involved in sport model rocketry since 1973. He is the president of the Southern Pennsylvania Area Association of Rocketry in Denver, Pa., and has been competing since 1984.
Mr. Feveryear is a former resident of Bel Air. His wife, Rita, and their two children, Renee and Daniel, share his model rocket interests.
Constantine Demos named group associate
Constantine Demos has been named an associate for Morgan Financial Group.
A graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County, Mr. Demos also attended Utah State University.
Baltimore-based Morgan Financial Group, in business since 1913, is an insurance agency with more than 120 full-time associates and 1,200 independent brokers throughout the area.
Mr. Demos and his wife, Ellen, and their two children live in Bel Air.
D. Donache honored as 'Woman of the Year'
Donna W. Donache, a secretary in the Test and Assessment Directorate Headquarters, U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (TECOM), was named the 1993 "Outstanding Woman of the Year" during a Women's Equality Day celebration sponsored by Aberdeen Proving Ground's Federal Women's Program (FWP).
Ms. Donache has been a government employee for 25 years and has worked at the proving ground for the past seven years. She has been active in the FWP for the past four years and is chairwoman of TECOM's Federal Women's Program.
Earlier this year, Ms. Donache was the recipient of the Baltimore Federal Executive Board FWP award. She was chosen from 21 nominees representing federal agencies throughout the Baltimore area for outstanding contributions to women's causes in the federal workplace.
