In GENEVA, Presidents Franjo Tudjman of Croatia and Alija Izetbegovic of Bosnia-Herzegovina agree to declare a cease-fire between Croat and Muslim-led government forces in central Bosnia and allow free passage for food convoys.

Croats and Bosnian government forces continued heavy fighting GORNJI VAKUF, and an attack by Croatian troops killed at least 10 people and wounded several dozen in the beseiged city of MOSTAR.

In ZAGREB, Croatia, officials confirmed that Serb fighters shoot down a Croatian army jet. It was one of the few reports of downed aircraft during Balkans conflict.
