Wings to Go franchise opens in Pasadena

A new Wings to Go franchise has opened at 3201 Mountain Road in Pasadena, next to the relocated Blockbuster video store.

Owned and operated by Ray Milliken and Nancy Cleveland, the store will hold a grand opening Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. featuring free Buffalo wings, balloons, face painting and drawings for a large teddy bear and $100 cash.

Councilman Carl G. "Dutch" Holland will be on hand to greet customers, as will the founder of Wings To Go, Sally Mayhue.

Annapolis Mall gets soft-pretzel shop

Auntie Anne's, a chain offering hand-rolled soft pretzels with origins in the Amish community of Lancaster County, Pa., has opened for business at the Annapolis Mall.

The Annapolis franchise, owned by Joe and David Katz, is near Crabtree & Evelyn in the mall.
