THEFT: Central District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 600 block of N. Paca St. between July 9 and Monday and stole property valued at $550 from the bedroom.
ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Madison Ave. was in the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Monday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of property worth $80.
BURGLARY: Central District -- A VCR and TV, all valued at nearly $900, were stolen from a house in the 2200 block of Callow Ave. Monday morning by someone who entered through a skylight.
THEFT/ARREST: Central District -- Police arrested a resident of the 9700 block of Patuxent Woods Drive in Columbia after he attempted to steal an All Star baseball game banner on display in the 200 block of N. Eutaw St. Monday night.
BURGLARY/ARREST: Central District -- Someone entered John's carryout in the 100 block of W. 21st St. Monday and stole cigarettes valued at nearly $90. Later, police arrested a suspect and were holding him at the station pending charges.
BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3800 block of Grantley Drive Sunday or Monday and stole stereo equipment and a VCR, all valued at more than $2,000.
THEFT: Southern District -- Ten plants, all valued at nearly $80, were stolen from the front porch of a house in the 1100 block of Cherry Hill Road Sunday or Monday.
ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 400 block of S. Gilmor St. was robbed of $80 by two men who attacked him as he walked in the 1800 block of Cole St. Monday.
BURGLARY: Southern District -- A tape player valued at more than $70 was stolen from a house in the first block of S. Fulton Ave. Sunday or Monday.
BURGLARY: Southern District -- A VCR, TV and compact disc player, all valued at more than $800, were stolen from a house in the 300 block of S. Parrish St. Monday.
SHOOTING: Southern District -- A resident of the 900 block of E. North Ave. was in the 2700 block of Round Road in Cherry Hill Monday evening when a man shot him in the left leg and back. The gunman escaped and the victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center and was listed in serious condition.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man who implied he had a gun hidden under a white towel he was carrying robbed the Crow's Nest at the Forest Park golf course in the 2900 block of Hillsdale Ave. of $50 Monday afternoon.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of Spaulding Ave. was in the 4700 block of Park Heights Ave. Monday afternoon when he was grabbed from behind by a man who reached into his pockets and took $35.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men attacked a resident of the 5000 block of Clifton Ave. in the 4700 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Monday afternoon and robbed him of $100. The men were chased by a police officer, but they escaped.
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered an office in the 4800 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Monday by removing a window air-conditioner and stole three air-conditioners, a word processor, and two TVs.
ROBBERY: Towson District -- A woman was getting out of her car on the third level of Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road about 11 a.m. Monday when she was knocked to the ground by two men who stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $60.
BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Someone entered the Sizzler restaurant in the 4200 block of Ebenezer Road Sunday or Monday through the front door and attempted to open the safe. The intruder left without taking any property. Before entering the restaurant, the person disconnected the burglar alarm and cut the telephone lines.
SCHOOL BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered the Villa Cresta Elementary School in the first block of Rader Ave. between July 9 and Monday and forced open at least two vending machines. It was not immediately known how much money, if any, was stolen.
STOLEN CAR: Parkville District -- A 1989 Hyundai with Maryland license plates ABK415 was stolen from the first block of Whitelaw Place Sunday or Monday.
