Intruder robs couple at home

A knife-wielding bandit confronted a couple in the bedroom of their Wilde Lake home at 3 a.m. yesterday and demanded cash, police said.

The robber entered the couple's home in the 10600 block of Faulkner Ridge Circle, police said.

Among the items stolen were computer equipment, a videocassette recorder and a sewing machine valued at $3,500, police said.

The robber confronted the couple in their bedroom and demanded cash. After stealing several hundred dollars in cash, the robber told the couple to go back to sleep and left, police said.


* Town Center: 10300 block Little Patuxent Parkway: Two men stole 45 pairs of Levis 560 jean shorts from Hechts at The Mall in Columbia. The shorts were valued at $1,350. The suspects put the shorts into a large bag and drove off in an old gray and black Buick. The incident occurred about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.
