Amy Wolfe, 17, of Crofton
School: Arundel Senior High
Accomplishments: Amy is closing out her senior year with a 3.7 grade point average.
In the fall, she will be attending Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., majoring in international affairs or political science, with hopes of eventually spending at least one year of college overseas.
This year, she was National Honor Society secretary, co-captain of the Arundel Pom Squad and a member of the Yearbook Committee.
Additional scholastic activities included work with the drama department and an environmental club known as Positive Action By Students. She also tutored both elementary and high school students.
She says she acquired a taste for international culture and flair as a result of working at the Maryland Renaissance Festival the past two years, where she portrayed a character from "Old" England.
Outside school she has taken courses at the Maryland Hall For the Creative Arts in Annapolis, concentrating on one of her main interests -- dance -- and painting and drawing.
Comments: "I am really interested in the cultures and histories of different countries and hope to experience first hand the traditions of other countries by traveling."
