Carryout orders from Hunt Ridge are ready within 15 minutes and are available from a wide variety of carefully and generously prepared dishes on the menu.
This is primarily a restaurant with a friendly bar, an elegant dining room and music three nights a week. It has been owned and operated for nine years by brothers Frank Tselepis and George Kougioulis.
The carryout menu offers "overstuffed" sandwiches such as deluxe bacon and cheese for $4.95; chicken breast filet for $3.95; turkey club, $5.95; and a crab cake with french fries, $6.95; plus a host of others.
Side orders of fries, coleslaw, potato salad, crab soup and soup of the day and a house salad are under $2. Greek salad is $4.95 and the chef's salad is $5.95.
Weekday specials on the carryout menu vary. On Monday it is creamed chipped beef over toast, $5.50; Tuesday is baked meatloaf with tomato sauce and mashed potatoes, $5.50; Wednesday's special is one-half a roasted chicken with rice, $6.95; Thursday is sour beef and dumplings, $6.95; and on Friday try the flounder polonaise with one vegetable for $6.95.
Catering and platters are also available.
