Lawmaker will be waitress for a day
Del. Joan Cadden of District 31 will become a waitress for a day at the BWI Marriott to raise money for the American Heart Association.
As part of Celebrity Waiter A La Heart May 21, Mrs. Cadden and other community leaders will serve dinner for tips for the association.
In addition to serving dinner, the delegate from North County said, she might "sing, dance, perform magic tricks or even stop ** singing, if the price is right."
Guests at each celebrity waiter's table will be served a chicken dinner and entertainment, courtesy of their waiter.
The 6:30 p.m. fund-raiser benefits research, public education rTC and community service programs at the heart association in the fight against heart disease and stroke.
The association is the largest nonprofit group dedicated to the reduction of disability and death from heart disease and stroke.
