* Kings Contrivance: 7500 block of Rain Flower Way: Someone removed a $1,500 tailgate from a 1993 Nissan truck between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. yesterday.

* Long Reach: 6300 block of Dobbin Road: A woman who accidentally left her purse at Friendly Ice Cream about 11:30 p.m. Saturday returned for it, but the purse was gone. It contained $25, a set of keys and a checkbook.

Tamar at Phelps Luck drives: A man approached a female about 3:10 p.m. Monday at Jackson's Pond, exposed himself and began masturbating. The man was described as white, between 25 and 35, 5 feet 10, and 160 pounds. He has short dark hair, and was wearing baggy shorts and possibly a light green pastel T-shirt. He was carrying a red tote or gym bag.

* Oakland Mills: 5800 block of Robert Oliver Place: Someone stole a wallet from the back room of the Oakland Mills Beauty Outlet between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday. The wallet contained a checkbook, $3 in cash and 12 credit cards.

9400 block of Timesweep Lane: A $180 boy's 10-speed bike was stolen from a back yard between midnight Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

5000 block of Thunder Hill Road: Someone broke the rear passenger window on a 1993 Ford Escort, entered the car and damaged the ignition between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

* Owen Brown: 9500 block of Sea Shadow: Someone picked a man's pocket at a skating rink on Deepage Drive about 10 p.m. Friday. His olive green wallet contained $50 in cash, a Columbia Association card and a McDonald's tele-card. Two witnesses told him they heard someone talking about how much money he took from the man's wallet.

7100 block of Lasting Light Way: A lock was pried between 10:23 p.m. and 11 p.m. Monday. Someone rifled through a purse on a kitchen table, but nothing was taken.

6400 block of Dobbin Road: An officer responded to an alarm at Wilhide's about 9 p.m. Tuesday and found glass in the front door smashed. Nothing was taken.
