THEFT: Central District -- About $250 worth of property was stolen from a 1985 GMC truck parked in the 100 block of S. Hanover St. late Saturday.

* THEFT: Central District -- A wallet containing $125 was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of W. Centre St. about 9 p.m. Saturday.

*ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Central District -- A man reported he was struck in the head with a brick by another man in the 2100 block of Morton St. about 1:45 a.m. yesterday. The man attempted to rob the victim but was frightened off.

*THEFTS: Central District -- About $600 worth of clothing was reported stolen Saturday evening from a woman in the 200 block of E. Pratt St. and from three businesses at the Gallery and Harborplace shopping malls -- The Gap, The Limited and The White House.

*THEFT FROM AUTO: Central District -- Thieves broke the window of a 1986 Toyota van and stole a pair of black boots, a sweat shirt and a bag containing other types of clothing. The items were valued at $235. The theft occurred between 10 p.m. (( and midnight Saturday.

*STOLEN CAR: Eastern District -- A car was reported stolen from the 1600 block of N. Milton Ave. about 9:55 p.m. Saturday.

*ASSAULT: Eastern District -- A man reported another man stabbed him in the back with a knife in the 1300 block of N. Port St. early yesterday. The victim was released after treatment at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

*ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Police arrested a woman attempting to steal clothing from a store in the 2100 block of E. Monument St. about 3 a.m. yesterday. She entered the store by prying the locks of a steel door. Charges were pending.

*THEFT FROM AUTO: Northeastern District -- Twelve cases of beef were stolen from a 1988 van parked in the 4500 block of Harford Road between 2 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday. The meat was valued at $1,920.

*BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Thieves stole $1,050 from a home in the 1600 block of Woodbourne Ave. between 2 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. yesterday.

*ARMED ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men wielding handguns robbed another man of $75 and a dozen roses in the 3400 block of W. Cold Spring Lane about 3 a.m. yesterday.

* ARMED ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men robbed another man of $26 at gunpoint in the 3400 block of Greenmount Ave. at 6:45 a.m. yesterday.

*THEFT FROM AUTO: Northern District -- a 1986 Chevrolet was stolen from the garage of a Firestone Tire and Service Center in the 2200 block of N. Howard St. early yesterday. Thieves threw a brick through a bay window and backed the car out of the bay door.

*ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault after he stabbed another man in the elbow in the 1000 block of N. Stricker St. about 2:20 a.m. yesterday.

*ROBBERY: Southern District -- An unarmed man robbed another man of $130 in the first block of Washburn Ave. about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

*ASSAULT: Southern District -- Three men struck another man on the head with a two-by-four in the 1500 block of W. Pratt St. about 12:15 a.m. yesterday.

*THEFT FROM CAR: Southern District -- A 9 mm gun, a badge, gun case and a cellular phone were stolen from a Maryland State Police car parked in the 600 block of Portland St. between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday.

*ARREST: Southern District -- A 29-year-old man was arrested on rape charges after a woman was sexually assaulted in the 1300 (( block of E. Patapsco Ave. about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

*THEFT Southeastern District -- Someone took a jacket of unknown value from a lounge in the 500 block of S. Broadway between 11:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Southeastern District -- A padlock was removed from a video machine at Juliano's Restaurant, in the 600 block of S. Broadway between 1:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. yesterday. Coins were removed from the machine.

Southeastern District -- Someone broke into the Patterson Assembly of God Church, in the 100 block of N. Patterson Park Ave., between 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. yesterday and stole the public address system.

Northwestern District -- Two men stopped a man in the 5200 block of Park Heights Ave. at 11 p.m. Friday. One of the assailants pointed a gun at the victim while the other went through his pockets and took an undetermined amount of cash. Police said one suspect has been arrested.

*ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A gunman approached the manager of the Popeye's restaurant in the 4400 block of $H Edmondson Ave. at 8:35 a.m. yesterday and forced him to open a safe. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone pried open the garage door at United Auto Repairs, in the 2000 block of Ashburton St., and took a vehicle from the property.
