The boys lacrosse team, which had shown marked improvement in winning its two previous games, fell to 4-6 with losses to Glenelg, 13-8, and C. Milton Wright, 18-6. Junior Dave Watts was the high scorer in each game, getting four goals against Glenelg and two against Wright. Junior Adam Casper had four goals for the week to raise his team-high total to 35. Junior goalkeeper Brian Keiser had 45 saves.

Freshman Dave Schmidt, county champion at 103 pounds, has been selected for the Maryland State wrestling team that will compete in a national tournament in June. . . . The girls lacrosse team (9-0) defeated North Harford, 18-10, as Julie Kakum had eight goals and four assists, Amanda McCulloch three goals and two assists, and Sara Pojrywka three goals and one assist. . . . Through Thursday, Joe Zarzycki was hitting .560 and he and Dan Angelini had hit in each of the baseball team's 10 games.
Kelly Rider pitched a four-hitter and homered in a 17-1 victory over visiting Fallston. . . . The softball team (10-2) is ranked No. 1 in the region for Class 2A-1A.
Ephram Dorsey equaled the school record in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 2 inches. Individual point leader for the boys is Ben Hall (middle distances, 41 1/2 ), followed by Steve Horinka (sprints and relays, 35 3/4 ). For the girls track team, Pam Toth (400, 800 and relays) and Laura Snyder (400 and 300 hurdles) are unbeaten, and hurdler Holly King has had solid performances.
The baseball team has been guaranteed at least a tie for first place in its league after defeating West Nottingham, 15-5, and Lancaster Country Day, 8-5. Pitchers Phil Kojack (4-0) and Eric Davis (3-1) won, and Cory Donahue took over as batting leader (.450), trailed by Kojack (.433, five doubles); Davis (.400, three triples, one homer); and Roger Williams (.400, five doubles).
Matt DeCapite and Dave Westervelt homered in a 12-1 baseball victory over Harford Tech. . . . The girls lacrosse team ended its season with a 12-2 loss to Mount de Sales.
